Manea tells of Kupe’s arrival in Aotearoa, New Zealand, the beginning of our country’s human story. Hokianga is the place Kupe secured for his descendants before returning to Hawaiki. His descendants share his story across a 75-minute multi-sensory journey of guided storytelling – through large scale artworks, film, performance, digital interaction.
